Built in 1914, The Norton Building is located in the heart of DTLA. Our client sought to transform it into a mixed use building with shops at the ground floor, offices at floors two through five, and a restaurant at the roof level.

The scope of work for the project included core and shell, 4th floor tenant improvement and a roof addition.

I was put in charge of the roof addition and core and shell scope at the end of the design development phase and from there saw the project through to its completion.

As project lead my duties included

• Coordination

• Production of full drawing sets

• Design

• Managing junior staff members

• Project administration

• Site documentation

• Construction Administration

• Permitting
